N.C. Red is ready for its debut! The creator of Barrington’s, Good Food on Montford, and Stagioni, Bruce Moffett, is ready for his New England-New South restaurant to open April 17….

The creator of Barrington’s, Good Food on Montford, and Stagioni, Bruce Moffett, is ready for his New England-New South restaurant to open April 17.
A few items on N.C. Red's menu includes Point Judith Calamari, Stuffies (NC clams with peppers, bread crumbs, and Chouriço), Baked Seafood Casserole, Seafood Cakes, and Lobster Roll.
The list is also loaded with oysters and clams sourced from both coasts, served up as Grilled, Rockefeller, Casino, or Broiled.
If that doesn’t make your mouth water, the “Fixin’s” section includes Buttermilk Biscuits, Smoky Mac and Cheese, and Braised Collard Greens.
The restaurant will open at the former Penguin Drive-In lot in Plaza Midwood, where some of the original design features will remain.
