THE BEST MOMENT Of Last Night’s ACMs

I've seen a lot of Country Music Award shows both on TV and in person.  Here's the good news.  Our performers are as talented as ever.

Here's the bad news.  These award shows have become SO scripted, SO contrived, and SO choreographed (because the producers are trying to fit EVERYONE AND THEIR BROTHER in the show in only 3 hours), that there are fewer and fewer REAL moments.

What I mean by that is when you see something or someone that comes through the screen and the authenticity and emotion of the moment causes you to physically react.

In my opinion, this was THE ONE AND ONLY "MOMENT" last night

Ashley McBryde is not a size 2.  Ashley McBryde is not running around on the stage in a romper.  Ashley McBryde does not sing about Daisy Dukes and sliding across the seat of a truck in bare feet.  Ashley McBryde does not perform in a go-go girl outfit (what was Maren Morris wearing-btw).  No, Ashley McBryde is a singer/songwriter who walked out on stage, just a girl and her guitar, and sang her arse off.

And in the end, not only was EVERYONE at the MGM Grand on their feet, we were too.
