Women’s Main Event BOTCHED At Wrestlemania?
I have always been and I guess will always be a huge professional wrestling fan. As such, there have only been a handful of the 35 Wrestlemanias that I’ve missed….

I have always been and I guess will always be a huge professional wrestling fan. As such, there have only been a handful of the 35 Wrestlemanias that I've missed.
Last night was not one of them.
It wasn't the greatest Wrestlemania ever, but it was not the worst, either. One thing tho, since the event is now carried on the WWE's Network, they are no longer slaves to traditional Pay-Per-View Broadcast windows. What that means is the show can go on forever...and it does.
I didn't bother with the "kickoff show." The event itself-without this-is five hours and thirty minutes long. That's right, FIVE AND A HALF HOURS!
I'd be a liar if I told you I didn't fast-forward through some of the matches. Anyway, here are the results that matter:
-Seth Rollins over Brock Lesnar for Universal Title
-AJ Styles def. Randy Orton
-Shane McMahon def. The Miz
-Usos retain Tag Titles
-Iconics win Women's Tag Titles
-Kofi Kingston def Daniel Bryan for WWE Title
-Fin Balor takes IC Title from Bobby Lashley
-Triple H def. Bautista in BRUTAL match
And then there is this. It was supposed to be the biggest moment in the company's recent history. A women's three-way match for BOTH the "Raw" and "Smackdown" Championships between Ronda Rousey (Raw Champ), Charlotte Flair (Smackdown Champ), and "The Man," Becky Lynch.
The ending, Becky Lynch winning, was no surprise. The way it ended?

Apparently, this was the ending intended. Just not the way it was scripted. Rumors are that Rousey did not like the idea of being "pinned," and Vince McMahon made the call from the back to count three and that's it.
For wrestling fans, it's like the "Montreal Screw Job" all over again, right?
