Never let it be said that Garth Brooks doesn't have a feel for a place or a moment. One of Florida's favorite sons in music is the now late, great, Tom Petty.

For the first time in twenty years, there was a concert held in Petty's hometown of Gainesville in Ben Griffith Stadium. It was Garth, and this significance was not lost.

From "Refugee" to "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" (with wife Trisha Yearwood), to "I Won't Back Down," proper tribute was paid. Garth's been doing cool cover versions of songs for as long as I've known him (since the beginning), and he's always done a killer job.

This was no exception.
