Starting January 1, 2019, Debbie and I made the New Year's Resolution that so many make:  To Lose Weight.  With me it was about getting back into shape (not just losing weight).

As a former athlete, I felt horrible for "letting myself go," and was determined to model self-discipline for my son to see.

We haven't really talked about specifics on the air (that would seem a little too self-serving, we think), but I will tell you we've each dropped in the 40 pound range.

However, just when I was feeling good about my progress, THIS comes out.

Jim White, RD, ACSM, and owner of Jim White Fitness and Nutrition Studios, has given us the parameters for what our ideal weight is/should be-JUST IN TIME for Summer swimsuit season.

For men it’s 106 pounds plus six pounds for every inch over five feet and for women, it’s 100 pounds plus five pounds for every inch over five feet.

Does that sound about right to you?

Shouldn't age factor into this too?

Asking for a friend <g>.

Oh well...20 to go.
