We absolutely love those little fried won ton bites filled with cream cheese goodness.  The crab-stuffed version is a real treat, too.  Did you know there's a way to bring all that yumminess home without even having to break out the fryer?  This homemade version is so easy.  They're bursting with all the flavor of our favorite take-out app, but they're baked!

Ingredients:

won ton wrappers (available in most grocery stores near the produce)

flavored whipped cream cheese,  from the store, or homemade if you prefer  (I use the Alouette garlic and herb variety)

non-stick cooking spray

your favorite sweet chile dipping sauce

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Place the won ton wrappers on a baking sheet lined with parchment or foil.  With a small spoon, scoop the cream cheese filling onto each wrapper.  Be careful not to overfill, or they with burst open.  Have some water in a small bowl ready to brush around the edges to seal the won ton wrapper.  You can also use an egg wash, but water works just as well.  Use a brush or your finger to apply to edges.  Bring opposite corners together to pinch shut and form a little purse.  Spray each one with cooking spray.  Place in preheated oven for 7-8 minutes.  Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
