Just because you LIKE two things does not always mean you should COMBINE those two things.  Look, everyone likes Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.  Chocolate and Peanut Butter go together.

However I also love asparagus.  Should I combine either or both with that?  Of course not.

Now I hear word of a movie called "The Pale Door" that will combine two different film genres I enjoy:  Westerns and Horror.

And befor you go "HELL YEAH!"

Let me remind you of a little movie called "Cowboys and Aliens."

It combined Westerns and Sci-Fi.  And it starred BIG TIME folks (Daniel Craig, Olivia Wilde, & Harrison Ford-see above pic). And it was a BIG TIME turd.

To be fair, here's the official synopsis that's been released:

“The story follows a gang of cowboys and a mysterious woman who seek shelter in a seemingly uninhabited ghost town after a disastrous train robbery. Seeking help for their wounded leader they are surprised to stumble upon a welcoming brothel in the town’s square but soon discover that the town is home to a coven of witches and blood-thirsty wolves.”

Wait, before you get the thought of, "Well, maybe..."
