She faced harsh criticism when she posted pictures from her Playboy photo shoot to her Instagram.

'I Just Want to Live and Love' Maren Morris is unafraid to “live and love” how she wants and some people just can’t understand it.

Morris is being featured in Playboy Magazine’s "Gender & Sexuality" issue, due out June 28th, the singer appears topless wearing just a cowboy hat, red pants, and cowskin boots. “Strip it down. something with @playboy is coming next week…,” Morris captioned the post. Morris received backlash and was slut-shamed but she didn’t let it get her down. “I recently accepted myself and will put these photos in a frame because I’ll never have this moment back. Can’t wait for you to read my interview with @playboy in their ‘Gender + Sexuality’ issue next week. I drop some truth[s] too.”
