OMG...this is awful! ABC journalist Emma Alberici is counting her lucky stars that she still has fingers to count them on!
The "Alphabet Network's" chief economics correspondent revealed on Twitter on Monday that she had had surgery over the weekend after cutting her fingers in a blender.
“Advice: Don’t put fingers in stick blender blade to wash it while it’s still plugged in to the power,” Alberici wrote.
“Fingers survived thanks to the incredible work of surgeon & team at Prince of Wales Hospital.”
I'm so scared of blenders and food processors that I actually will unplug them before putting my hands in. Just having them turned off is not enough!
