Seems like something out of science fiction. Thousands of people in one country are doing this to replace credit cards and cash.

Thousands of people in Sweden are having microchips implanted into their SKIN in order to buy things.  The chips are about the size of a grain of rice and are inserted into the hands to replace credit cards and cash.

Catherine Lane is the morning show co-host and midday host on Country 1037 in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has been with the station for the past 24 years and is a recipient of the Academy of Country Music Major Market Personality of the Year award.
