I remember growing up and going away to camp.  And I LOVED it.  And it didn't matter what kind of camp it was.  There was something about being away from home with other kids, that was just right up my alley.

Apparently, tho...not all kids felt/feel like I did.

Homesickdotcom is an Instagram account full of letters that unhappy kids sent home from camp.  And this is TOO funny.  It was started by two sisters after one of their kids wrote a dramatic letter from camp. They thought it was funny and posted it.

And pretty soon, other parents jumped in the game.  Some letters are polite, please come and take me back to New York away from this hellhole.

Other letters, not so polite, get me out of this f-- camp. Send stickers, Fatheads, and cards.

Here's a fave of mine.

Another kid wrote, Dear Mom, I love you so much. I am having fun but I am nauseous and homesick. This is a tear drop. The kid wrote the words out, they did not draw it out.

Check it out on Insta.
