There's a difference between a gory movie and a scary movie.  Not that a really scary movie can't have some blood in it, but the story is not dependent on it.

That's why, to us, there are two that stand out:  the original "Halloween," and this movie, "Event Horizon."

It was made in 1997 and trust me, it will scare the pants off of you.

Now, some 22 years later, Amazon has announced intentions to create a TV show inspired by the movie.  In the film a group of astronauts/scientists are called to investigate when the ship, "Event Horizon" reappears after being thought to be lost in space for many years.

What they discover-the hard way-is that the ship had gone on a journey, for lack of a better term, to Hell.

The series will focus on that journey.

Can't wait!
