Jackson Proskow is a Canadian journalist assigned to Washington, D.C. Honestly, I'd never heard of him or his news outlet before yesterday.
On Twitter last night, I came across a thread from him that began with this
Okay, you got me. I'm a native Texan who feels like I've spent half my life in Dallas airports, so I'll bite. However I was not prepared to be moved like this.

I cannot imagine the emotion of the son/pilot.
Proskow went on to say that everyone in the terminal was presented with an American flag and the story was told over the loudspeaker with EVERYONE paying rapt attention and respect.
For all the bad things we've heard about people this week, it was nice to hear that we all can and do come together over the right things...somtimes
