I actually came across this trailer last week and said, "You know, I kinda want to see this, but man...I don't know if this is in the best taste right now."

Apparently, Hollywood feels the same way.

"The Hunt, " starring Oscar winner Hillary Swank (pictured above)was scheduled to be released in September and depicted a society in which rich people could pay money to hunt other human beings for sport.

It's not like this is an orginal idea.  I can think of at least two or three others over the years that were like this, but in the wake of all the gun violence in the last month, it just feels inappropriate.

No word on if or when the movie will see release.

Chances are it will be released to streaming and never mass marketed into theaters. (just my guess)
