It's Friday, so why not a cute, yet unbelievable animal story for you.

If you're a rescue cat...and you're looking for a way to stand out among all the other felines in your boat waiting to be adopted, you'd want to develop something to set you apart, right?

I know, instead of "meowing," why not quack like a duck?

“Wee Melvin” who was brought to the Palm Valley Animal Center in Edinburg, Texas, was the star of a video posted to the animal center’s Instagram page that showed him quacking like a duck instead of the traditional cat “meow.”

According to Sarah, a volunteer at the center, “We heard a very unique meow when we entered the room and followed it to this surprising source.”

Melvin’s unique “meow” must have done the trick as he was adopted this week.
