It seems absolutely absurd to call ANYONE who has battled cancer, "lucky."  It is an insidious disease that plays no favorites and has a track record of winning that is heartbreaking.

Those that beat cancer can surely be called lucky.

Those that beat cancer twice?  REALLY lucky.

Those that beat cancert twice AND WIN THE LOTTERY?!

Oregon man, Stu MacDonald, is in that elite club.  After beating cancer twice, Stu MacDonald's luck continued with a recent lottery win.

MacDonald took home $1.5 million after taxes off the quick pick ticket.

Interestingly, every week that MacDonald buys a ticket his wife says, “get the winning ticket,” although she forgot to tell him on September 7th.  That was the day his luck took actions in its own hands to make sure he did what she asked.
