Prior to his acclaimed appearance at Rooftop 210 at the Epicenter on Friday night, Matt Stell, came by to spend some time with Charlie and Debbie. He was open, honest, and a lot of fun.
Then…it got REALLY great as Matt went acoustic on three fantastic songs starting with a couple that could be his next single. Up first, Debbie (and come to find out Matt’s choice) “Everywhere But On”
Then, the better (ie Charlie’s) choice, “I Bet Whiskey Would”
And it all wrapped up with his smash, debut single, “Prayed For You,” that begins with a discussion of the importance of the song’s video
Charlie Nance is the Afternoon Drive co-host (along with his wife) of "The Charlie and Debbie Show" at WSOC, Country 1037 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The couple have been with the radio station since 2006. Charlie has won the prestigious CMA (Country Music Association) Award for Radio Personality of the Year and has been a finalist for the Country Radio Hall of Fame four times. Prior to his time in Charlotte, Charlie (along with Debbie) spent more than a decade hosting successful morning radio shows in Greenville, SC; Augusta, Ga; and Birmingham, Al.
