Did Charlotte make the top 10?

If you ask Condé Nast Traveler readers, the Best Big City in America is once again Chicago.  For the third consecutive year, the Windy City has taken the top slot in the magazine’s Choice Awards, beating out 2015 and 2016 winner New York. The 600,000 subscribers voted Chicago based on its status as “a world-class destination” which boasts “some of the most pleasant people you’ll find anywhere.” According to recent figures released by the city, a record of nearly 58 million visitors came in 2018.

Minneapolis came in second. Rounding out the list of 10 Best Big Cities is Boston (No. 3), New Orleans (4), Washington, D.C. (5), San Diego, California (6), New York City (7), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (8), Honolulu, Hawaii (9) and San Antonio, Texas (10).

Do you agree with the readers’ findings? Which city would you vote?
