Their Butter Crunch ice cream may not be safe to eat, due to a customer finding a plastic tool in their half gallon.
PR Newswire claims the company investigated and are saying the tool broke before falling into the ice cream at a plant in Alabama. Blue Bell is worried that more half gallons of their Butter Crunch may contain parts of the tool.
The affected Butter Crunch Ice Cream half gallons were distributed in parts of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. All affected stores are directly delivered to and serviced by Blue Bell Creameries and have been instructed to remove the product from their shelves. For more info, click here.
