Alright, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.  Wal Mart already has Christmas stuff out.  We've got a sister radio station in the building CHOMPING AT THE BIT to start playing Christmas music.  So let's get the never-ending debate started.

That being, of couse, "Real vs. Fake Christmas Tree."

First, a little top of mind awareness for you.  In the UK, the town of Penzance has already lit up this year's holiday display, which features 150 faux-trees made of plastic. Residents are a bit upset, especially because the municipality bills itself as the UK's first "plastic-free" town.

Town officials argue that fake is more sustainable.

Environmental groups are up in arms.

UGH!

Our personal feelings?  We have a fake tree.  We've always had a fake tree.  I think we'll always have a fake tree.  It's not that we don't love real, we do.  It's just we'd rather spend $100-$200 once every 10 years for a tree instead of every year.

And we know our stuff is gonna look like we want it to every year.

But, to each, his own we say.

Now, can we get back to debating whether or not we even need to be talking about Christmas before Thanksgiving?
