Charlotte Shelter are Taking Action to Help During Colder Temperatures
The low was 20 degrees last night in the Charlotte area.
Charlotte shelters are taking steps to help those in need during this cold weather. With temperatures plummeting, many of our homeless shelters are expanding their capacity in order to house more individuals.
Two Charlotte homeless shelters including the Men’s Shelter of Charlotte/Urban Ministry Center and Salvation Army Center of Hope have said that they will take in more people who need a warm place to sleep. The Salvation Army will not turn anyone in need away and will be open 24 hours.
