Personally, I was rooting for bad blood and pettiness forever, but this is okay too. ;)

John Mayer and Taylor Swift are former lovers.  This is no secret.  In fact, it is widely reported that the song, "Dear John" from Taylor is about them and their breakup.

There WAS some latent hostility between the two as a result from this, but apparently time has been able to heal those wounds as Mayer recently commented on Swifty's song, "Lover" with Sean Mendes (who is featured on the song), on Instagram.
