NJ.com claims Toys 'R' Us is opening its first retail store in the United States today at the Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus, New Jersey.
Their iconic mascot, Geoffrey,'The Giraffe,' will oversee the ribbon cutting ceremony before the store officially opens at 10 a.m. The toy store filed for bankruptcy in 2017 before closing all of their stores in 2018.
Another Toys 'R' Us store is scheduled to open in Houston in early December.
