Young NC Boy With Failing Heart Ask For Just Christmas Cards

This may be his last Christmas.

A 9-year-old Asheboro boy who has been battling a heart condition is requesting Christmas cards .

William Sidebottom has had many surgeries in his young life, and he had a heart transplant age 6, but it is failing.

According to a family friend, "William's body is rejecting his heart and is only given months to live. William is just 9 years old. He is at 80% heart failure. He is not a candidate for a new heart because his immune system is too strong and it would just reject a new one."

William says he just wants a bunch of Christmas cards. Can you help? Here is his address:
