Do you like credit unions or banks?

I guess it's because banks are for-profit institutions, while credit unions are non-profits. I love the freedom of credit unions and the friendly demeanor rather than the robotic demeanor at traditional banks.
Credit unions treat you better in person with that good old customer service and lower fees. What do you like better, a credit union or traditional bank? If I had to choose between banks or credit unions, I'm going with credit unions for their stellar customer service and no monthly fees.
