The classroom is now getting a little safer in Union County.  Union County schools is  launching a new safety app that will be available to middle and high school students called "Say Something",

It is a free app where kids can anonymously send tips for anything they consider a dangerous situation from bullying to other safety concerns.

As a mother of a child that was bullied this makes me incredibly relieved and happy.  He is no longer in that situation but it was a terrible time and I felt helpless.

Leaders are calling this a power tool.  We think it sounds like a fabulous idea.
