Alex Wong / StaffThe classroom is now getting a little safer in Union County. Union County schools is launching a new safety app that will be available to middle and high school students called "Say Something",
It is a free app where kids can anonymously send tips for anything they consider a dangerous situation from bullying to other safety concerns.
As a mother of a child that was bullied this makes me incredibly relieved and happy. He is no longer in that situation but it was a terrible time and I felt helpless.
Leaders are calling this a power tool. We think it sounds like a fabulous idea.
