When I was a small boy, Friday nights on CBS consisted of two must-see TV shows:  "The Dukes of Hazzard" and "The Incredible Hulk."

Unlike the modern "Avengers" movies, The Hulk was not CGI...he was portrayed by an hearing-impaired body-builder named Lou Ferrigno.

Over the years, Lou has had several different roles, most notably as himself on "King of Queens," but he's always been known as/made his living by being known as, TV's "Hulk."

Well now, he has a new job.

Lou Ferrigno has announced that he's becoming a sheriff's deputy for the San Luis Obispo Sheriff's Department in New Mexico.

"I'm very proud to be a deputy because my whole life I've wanted to be a sheriff," Lou said on his website about his new gig. "People assume it's an honorary thing, it's not."

This is nothing new, Ferrigno had already been dedicating 20 hours a month to the same sheriff's department and before that Lou was a reserve deputy in California and a volunteer in Arizona.

Can you imagine getting pulled over by "The Incredible Hulk?!"
