Imagine that video of your baby's first steps, or your baby's first words, or your baby's first WHATEVER.  Now, imagine a time before you were able to capture all those moments on your phone.

25 years ago, one used VHS tapes and cameras for such things.

Now imagine if you accidentally donated your VHS Player to Goodwill with the tape still in that had your baby's first steps.

And you never realized the tape was in there, and you'd always wondering what happened to it, and you'd never see your baby's first steps again.

IKR?

BUT this story has a happy ending.

Jim McKay is an Austin, Texas filmmaker and bought the player at a Goodwill to use as a prop for a film project.

He gets home, hooks it up, hits play and BOOM...there's an 18 minute recording inside of  a baby’s first steps. The date on the tape is September 27, 1994.

McKay posted some of the video on social media and KVUE-24 TV picked up the story...

Guess what?  TyRe Alexander’s mom was watching and saw her family’s old home video.

Alexander was the baby in the tape and now priceless family video has been reunited with the family of this now, grown man.

Too cool.
