He is so adorable!
February 2nd is a big day. Not only is it the day the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers for the Super Bowl down in Miami, but it’s also Groundhog Day, which is a fun way to look forward to spring in Charlotte.
As the legend goes, if the groundhog sees it’s shadow then winter will continue for another six weeks. If the groundhog does not see his shadow then spring is just around the corner. With the way winter in Charlotte is going this year…both don’t seem like an awful option.
Meet Punxsutawney Phil!
Groundhog Day where Punxsutawney Phil lives will be gloomy with a chance of possible snow showers but in Charlotte…we will have sunny skies and a high in the 50s! To learn more about Groundhog Day click here!
