There were a couple of tributes to the late, Kobe Bryant this weekend that caught my eye.  First let's star with what I'll call the cool one.

Here's how you know an athlete's impact...when athletes from other sports are moved to actionable tribute.  On the PGA Tour this week at The Waste Management Phoenix Open, golfers on the infamous 16th hole donned Kobe jerseys, the hole flag bore his number, and some even had custom work on their clubs done.

Then there's THIS!

Honestly, I'm not altogether sure HOW this is even possible, but it is amazing.  Here's what I know.  Pete Davis and Kelli Pearson  own "Turfprinter."  They started with a just a black and white image.   Then, this is where the witchcraft comes into play.  The image is then loaded into Davis’ GPS-guided lawnmower, which creates dark and light shades by bending grass blades with air.

Again, witchcraft

The mural is 115-feet tall and 92-feet wide.
