Weekdays Morning Show Co Host/Middays

I first heard the news about the tornadoes in the Nashville area when I woke up yesterday morning.  My first thought was my sister Linda and her family that lives there.  I knew with the storms happening overnight, chances were she would sleep through any warnings. I called her in the middle of the night and she answered right away.  My prayers were answered . She, my nephew and niece are all ok.

Of course over two dozen people lost their lives and sadly the death toll may rise, dozens are still missing and at the latest count 45 buildings completely destroyed.  There is lots of work to do and lots of healing.

Boone based Samaritan’s Purse has sprung into action.  Less than 12 hours after the deadly storms they sent two relief units to the hardest hit areas to help those in need.  They are also providing chaplains from the Billy Graham Organization to provide spiritual and emotional support.
