I think any time we are facing challenging circumstances, we turn to our personal outlets or hobbies to help us through the tough times.  Of course, my happy place is in the kitchen.  I will admit finding some ingredients such as fresh meats at the grocery store has been harder than usual.

So, for this week's recipe I decided to do a yummy side dish with just 5 ingredients.  The star of the dish is Dash's Onion and Herb Seasoning and Extra Spicy Seasoning Blend.  These little gems in a jar are a fantastic way to add flavor without adding salt to your favorite recipes.  And, they are plentiful in your spice aisle at the grocery store!  In this case, the dish is Spicy Roasted Red Potatoes.

Ingredients:

1/3 cup olive oil

1 T. Dash Extra Spicy Seasoning Blend

30 small red new potatoes, quartered

2 T. Dash Onion & Herb Seasoning Blend

1 lemon, juiced

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400.  In large bowl, mix olive oil with lemon juice and Onion and Herb Seasoning Blend.  Add potatoes and toss mixture.   Spray a baking sheet or line with foil and place potatoes on sheet.  Sprinkle with Extra Spicy Seasoning Blend and roast for 20 minutes, then turn and continue roasting until crisp tender.
