One of the things I love most about doing these Senior Shoutouts is finding out how interesting all these kids are.  Today, we shine the spotlight on Shaleigh Patterson and Brenna Sawyer.

These beautiful girls are set to graduate from York Comprehensive School.  Excuse me...both will graduate from York Comprehensive School WITH DISTINCTION!

Shaleigh cheered for 3 yrs at the high school, dances at Julie's Fancy Feet in York, and plans to pursue a career as a dental hygenist.

Brenna looks forward to a career in education as a teacher.  And as we've all bore witness to at this time, there is no more noble calling than that of teaching our kids.

Girls, we are so proud of you and your accomplishments and look forward to seeing and witnessing how you are going to bless the world in the future

Charlie Nance is the Afternoon Drive co-host (along with his wife) of "The Charlie and Debbie Show" at WSOC, Country 1037 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The couple have been with the radio station since 2006. Charlie has won the prestigious CMA (Country Music Association) Award for Radio Personality of the Year and has been a finalist for the Country Radio Hall of Fame four times. Prior to his time in Charlotte, Charlie (along with Debbie) spent more than a decade hosting successful morning radio shows in Greenville, SC; Augusta, Ga; and Birmingham, Al. As a content creator for Country 1037, Charlie writes about dream lottery windfalls, sports, restaurants and bars, and travel experiences in North and South Carolina.
