This Senior Shoutout takes us back to Sun Valley High School in Indian Trail for Caelyn Murphy.   To say Caelyn's been a busy girl would be an understatement.

She has played volleyball all 4 years of high school and has been an active member of FFA during that time as well.

Currently, she is sitting President of ICC (Inter-Club Council), sitting VP of FFA, and is a member of National Technical Honor Society & ASL (sign language club).

Caelyn's maintained a great GPA while taken mostly honors classes (and some AP as well),  while in her spare time playing travel/club volleyball, participating in FFA competitions, and working part time as a waitress at Mia Famiglia Pizzeria.

In the fall, Caelyn will be attending Brevard College, where she’ll be studying Agricultural Education with a minor in Coaching, and is committed to play volleyball there.

Caelyn was accepted to Brevard w/ ½ tuition merit scholarship.  Additionally, she’s also been accepted in to the Honors Program and awarded a scholarship for that.  More scholorship money has been awarded her way after being accepted in to IWIL (Institute for Women in Leadership), and she's received still more scholorship money (maximum amount) for “Scholarship Day”  scholarship awards that she had to interview for.

Whew!  Caelyn we join your family is saluting your great accomplishments at Sun Valley and cannot wait to see what greatness lies ahead.

So, SHOUTOUT TO CAELYN MURPHY, SUN VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 2020!
