Donna Norwood is a resident of Union County (Monroe) and is a friend of ours.  She loves people and loves to travel.  So when we heard she was boarding a cruise ship in early March (a good week to 10 days before the Coronavirus essentially shut down the country), we were not surprised-we didn't approve (sorry, those floating Petri Dishes scare us at this point)-but we were not surprised.  This is what Donna does.

Little did we know what would transpire with her boat, The Coral Princess.

It was one of those ships that had multiple Covid-19 infected passengers and a couple of deaths.  As a result, the cruise was forced to be extended by more than two weeks.  Passengers were quarantined to their cabins, and it was touch-and-go for a couple of days earlier this month as to whether or not it would be allowed to dock back in Miami.

Thankfully, all ended well for Donna as she arrived home last Wednesday night.  She was gracious enough to talk with us earlier today.
