Garth Brooks took questions on his weekly "Studio G" live Facebook series last night (4/13) and as he shared, he’s in the same boat as the rest of us – staying home…being socially distant, responsible and everything that goes with that.

Brooks said, “The one thing that everybody agrees on…is how sweet everybody is being to each other. I’ve got to tell you, man – if there’s one thing that I hope this virus is remembered for, is it showed our true colors on how we treat each other.”

He added, “My prayer…my strength – everything I ask for you – is [to] stay strong. Keep it up.”

Asked what he and wife Trisha Yearwood are doing to deal with the stay-at-home circumstances we’re all in, Brooks said, “I’m lucky enough to be quarantined with my best friend,” saying that he and his wife have been doing a lot of “walkin’ and talkin’…and getting to know a lot more about her.”

He admitted, “You know, when you’re with the love of your life, you think you don’t need to know anything else other than that. I think people are with people for a reason, so the more I find out about her, the more I find out about myself.”

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
