I think of our own pups, Winnie and Romeo, at home. They spend their days being adored. They have their own beds when they aren't in ours, my husband literally cooks for them twice a day, they go on walks daily and get petted and loved on demand.
Officer Nibbles, however, was one of 31 pit bulls seized from an apparent dogfighting ring back in 2015. He was once facing a life of misery, pain and certain death and now he is loved and cared for and has a purpose in life helping others. 4 of the 31 dogs and puppies rescued now enjoy serving in law enforcement.
