Kane Brown will release a new song on Thursday (4/23) called "Cool Again."

Brown told us that “Cool Again” was originally about a breakup. "It was about you just wanted to be with a girl or with a boy that you had last summer and everything was fine and now it’s not. But, in today’s terms, it’s a whole new song for me because it’s like you just want everything to go back how it was- other than this quarantine."

He added, "You know, like the summer you used to have, being able to hang out with your friends. The whole song has changed for me."

Brown posted to Instagram about the song on Monday (4/20), "New summertime single releasing on all platforms and to radio in 3 days... first time I haven’t let anyone hear the song before it’s released and so hard to keep it a secret."
