This Senior Shoutout takes our attention to Gastonia and Ashbrook High School's Ian Mitchell.

He is a terrific student with a 4.2 GPA (member of the National Honor Society), played on both the Varsity Soccer (won the Coaches Award) and Tennis teams for The Greenwave, and was the Team Captain for his travel soccer team as well.

Music is also a passion as Ian.  He was the Percussion Captain for the Ashbrook Marching Band, a member of the All County Band, and also helps with the youth band at his church.

This fall, he will be attending Methodist University as an Engineering Major and hopefully continuing to play soccer/tennis. He aspires to work for a major roller coaster manufacturer called Rocky Mountain Construction Company (how cool would that be?!).

Ian, we join with your family in celebrating all your accomplishments and cannot wait to see what the future holds.

So, SHOUTOUT TO IAN MITCHELL, ASHBROOK HIGH SCHOOL, CLASS OF 2020!
