It's legendary. The IHOP on Cox Rd is probably one of the most recognizable IHOP's in the area.
It has been closed since April 16 but most folks just assumed that once things got back to normal, they would be able to go in and eat pancakes or omelets at the International House of Pancakes, but that is not to be. It opened in 1996.
Chris Allen told me the news this morning and I was shocked. Every time I went there it was always packed. I thought everything there was delicious. According to the Gaston Gazette, COVID 19 is not to blame. Now folks in Gaston County will need to travel to Charlotte to get their IHop fix.
