If Your Community Needs WiFi An Answer Is On The Way
There are communities that are receiving meals delivered by school buses to students and their families. Now, thanks to Google, AT&T, and Duke Energy, their donations are going to help to bring WIFI to even more under deserved NC communities.
I really believe this is a great program to bring wifi hotspots for students because they are having to work at home. Without wifi, it’s impossible for students to get their work done. I think this is something that should happen once school reopens for students to have access in the evening. If the extra mile could be taken to have tutors on the buses, that would be great. I understand that’s a lot to ask, but as a parent having to assist and help my child home school, sometimes that extra boost is necessary.
Thanks to donations from @ATT, @Google & @DukeEnergy, more than 280 school buses will bring Wi-Fi to communities across NC. This will help students without home internet access get connected as we continue remote learning for the rest of the school year.https://t.co/bh7yBtlLT6 pic.twitter.com/ChvglsP8FB
