We now turn our Senior Shoutout Spotlight to Catawba County's Newton-Conover High School for Ethan Hollar.

Ethan has been on the Red Devils Varsity Baseball Team since his Sophomore year, and carried a grade point average of 3.75 while playing ball and working part-time at Chick-fil-a since he was 16. He has enlisted in the US Marine Corps, and will leave for boot camp in September, and plans to become an aviation mechanic.

Ethan, we know you're disappointed at the way you Senior year has ended. However, we stand and salute not only your achievement, but your decision to dedicate your life's next chapter to serving our nation in the Marine Corps.

So, SHOUTOUT TO ETHAN HOLLAR, NEWTON-CONOVER HIGH SCHOOL, CLASS OF 2020!
