This Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600 will be stopped midway through to honor our troops.
Charlotte Motor Speedway announced this week that at the race’s midpoint, all drivers will go down pit road for a moment. It’s in remembrance of and to honor U.S. soldiers who have sacrificed their lives.
A similar tribute was held at the 2009 Coca-Cola 600. That race was held on Memorial Day due to rain. Sunday’s race will be held in an empty stadium
