The Town of Davidson decided last night that they will not be requiring masks. They say they will ask businesses to put signs in their windows letting people know if face coverings are required .
People are having mixed feelings about the ruling. Some expressed disappointment that leaders are not requiring employers to mandate masks. Others are happy that leaders are leaving the rules up to individual employers.
Authorities say enforcement issues would be one of the problems if the rules were stricter.
North Carolina may implement phase two of reopening on Friday.
