Many rules are still in place.
North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper announced Wednesday that Phase 2 of his plan for reopening the state will start Friday at 5 p.m. The stay-at-home order has been lifted.
The following places will open to limited capacities and with social distancing measures in effect:
- Dine-in eating
- Hair and nail salons, barbershops
The following places are still closed during Phase 2:
- Indoor entertainment venues
- Public playgrounds
