Welcome to a new weekend way to dine out in Gaston County.
Phase 2 of North Carolina’s reopening only allows restaurants to have their dining room at 50 percent capacity.
That makes it still very hard for a restaurant to survive.
The City of Belmont has a plan to make it more profitable for restaurants along Main Street. On Friday and Saturday night, Main street will close down to traffic and make room for outside dinning.
