To properly tell the story of our weekend's best activity, it's important for you to see this picture.
On the right is our son Hogan. On his left is his best friend, Lucas Helms. They met when Hogan left Carmel Christian School for Metrolina Christian Academy in 3rd Grade. Since they've been more like brothers than friends. Our two families have socialized together, vacationed together, celebrated together, and at times, cried together.
So when we got together this weekend down at Myrtle Beach, it was a no-brainer to take some cap and gown pictures together as Lucas is graduating from Metrolina and Hogan from Parkwood High School. Any tears this weekend were tears of joy.
Now...if we can JUST get a decent graduation ceremony! (are you seeing this, Governor Cooper)
