If you're looking to get away the Grand Canyon will reopen this summer. Grand Canyon National Park was open on Memorial Day but then closed.
Plans are to open the park again Friday through next Thursday while plans for reopening are finalized. The plan is to have the park open to the public on June 5 and the campground will be open by reservation.
The Tanner family have plans to head out West in June. Looks like it's still on!
