This Senior Shoutout has us shining our spotlight on the Student Body President at Porter Ridge High School, Luci Hinson.


Luci is the recipient of the 2020 Superintendent's Award at Porter Ridge, and was the Porter Ridge High School Parade Princess


Additionally, she has been very active in Union County Young Life, made three mission trips to Honduras, and has personally raised over $27,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society


Luci played Varsity Lacrosse for the Pirates, and in a first for us (in this project) in terms of hobbies and activities, she's been a competitive figure skater for FOURTEEN YEARS!

Luci plans to start college at Wake Tech, then transfer to N.C. State University where she plans to pursue her PHD in psychology.

Luci, we're knocked out by all your accomplishments and absolutely cannot wait to see the mark you leave on the world next!

Charlie Nance is the Afternoon Drive co-host (along with his wife) of "The Charlie and Debbie Show" at WSOC, Country 1037 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The couple have been with the radio station since 2006. Charlie has won the prestigious CMA (Country Music Association) Award for Radio Personality of the Year and has been a finalist for the Country Radio Hall of Fame four times. Prior to his time in Charlotte, Charlie (along with Debbie) spent more than a decade hosting successful morning radio shows in Greenville, SC; Augusta, Ga; and Birmingham, Al. As a content creator for Country 1037, Charlie writes about dream lottery windfalls, sports, restaurants and bars, and travel experiences in North and South Carolina.
