So this all got started Memorial Day weekend down at Myrtle Beach.  We're hanging out with our friends when Billy Joel's "Piano Man" came up on Debbie's playlist.  Out of nowhere she says, "You know, I can play that harmonica part."

SAY WHAT?!

I've know this woman for almost 3 decades.  The next time I even see her HOLD a harmonica will be the first.  We all laugh and basically call BS.

Then, unbeknownst to Debbie,  our friends text me saying they've odered her a harmonica to show off her skills when we're back down at the beach on July 4th.

Well, they couldn't wait.  Saturday night on their porch, the put "Piano Man" on the outdoor sound system, and handed Debbie her new instrument.

Most people would have laughed it off and said, "You got me."

Not my girl...

Favorite part 1:  I love how she sips a Mojito mid-performance.

Favorite part 2:  One of our son's friends actually plays the harmonica and is now giving her lessons so that by July 4th she actually sounds like Billy Joel.

I cannot wait to see the look on our holiday companions' faces then!
